Major research interests are research of school textbooks, curriculum and instruction,curriculum reform of basic education, basic theory of education,etc.; in charge of an excellent course of Ministry of Education;won the first prize of the Ministry of Education's Higher Education Achievement Award once,and the first prize of provincial Higher Education Achievement Award twice; publications include more than 40 academic works textbooks, and more than 100 academic articles in China and abroad such asHistory of Modern and Contemporary Textbooks in China,Memory of Centennial Chinese Textbooks,Centennial Chinese Textbook Theories,History of Textbooks in Primary and Secondary Schools of New China,Memory of Textbooks (1978-2018),Another Thesis of Teaching,andTeaching Pathology; in charge of more than 40 research programs; won the firth prize of the excellent performance on the 5th National Educational Science Research; won the second prize of the excellent performance on the 7thHumanity and Social Science in China Higher Education; won the Seventh WU Yuzhang Award for Excellent Achievements in Humanities and Social Sciences; won the 1stprize on the 13th Philosophy and Social Sciences Award in Beijing Municipality etc..
